Yesterday I mentioned about the career pathway and how mentors ,teachers and friends can contribute to our success. University and hard work are well known as good principles and having the opportunity to study is a privilege nowadays .Many people expected to achieved overnight success and quickly lost sight of the reality .They fretted incessantly about their future ,competition ,stress and workload .They are to focused on short term achievement and they don’t look on the long term run that studying and hard work ,even networking would open so many doors.They felt overwhelmed by some many setback and they don’t feel energized by so many possibilities that lie ahead them .I am a consultant and a strategist but like everyone else I had setbacks and I felt overwhelmed by the expectation I have set myself long time ago and I struggled to make my way through but I never gave up on my dreams .I was lost but I found the way .I wanted success and yes,success followed me .The ones who focus more on stress and the pressure were missing the most important things as the opportunities sit in front of them .But those you are more optimistic and positive about their future seem to shine even brighter .You don’t need to have the highest IQ to develop a positive mindset to excel .Likewise if you are prone to succumb to the pressure certainly you will fail or you will be stuck in a negative or neutral position .What is your choice ?
